The city of Barcelona

Barcelona is the capital and most populous city of Catalonia and the second largest city in Spain.

Aside from being a major tourist destination, Barcelona is also a major economic centre, boasting one of Europe's principal Mediterranean ports, the El Prat international airport, and a rich cultural heritage. Things to see include the architectural works of Antoni Gaudí, the famous Ramblas, and the Picasso museum.

Barcelona Airport is well situated for transfers to the resorts of the Costa Brava, including Blanes, Cadaques, Begur and Lloret de Mar.
